Rules and regulations for dealing with Emergency vehicles.

Dealing with the emergency service is something we all have to do when we use our roads.Weather its an ambulance, fire service or maybe the Garda ,learning the correct procedure in dealing with them is vital. Here is a video from the GEM in the uk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btRHvQEIkcU to help keep you and others around you safe when you come across an emergency vehicle. There is plenty of information here to educate even the most experienced drivers and it's definitely worth watching. Our driving instructors cover this in lesson 7 of the edt programme (sharing the road) and teach you best practices in coping when you see the blues and twos. For further information on this topic please contact a member of our friendly team on 014061925.

The new National Driver License Service in Ireland.

Learntodrivedublin.ie welcomes the new driver licensing system in Ireland which was introduced on Tuesday 29/11/2013.http://www.ndls.ie/en/Here you will find all the necessary information from locations of centres to what documentation you will need to fee's involved. As of 12/11/13 there seems to be quite long delays in processing your application which in my opinion is normal with any new system so the NDLS are asking drivers to only attend centres if your license is due for renewal in the next four weeks. For any further questions on the above please feel free to contact our friendly team today on 014061925.
